On December 3rd, SAP TV interviewed Jacobo Ortega on 3 main topics: Reasons for choosing S4, Main benefits of the technology as an early adopter, and Future Plans with S4.
After the SAP S/4 HANA© implementation LinkTech started gaining a lot of benefits from this new technology and due to that SAP broadcasted an interview with the CEO to go in detail about this. Jacobo mentioned that due to an exponential growth over the past 3 years, the opening of a new office in the US and the launching of a brand new offering for both, the Mexican and US market; a tool for improving control and visibility was a top priority for the company. Thus Linktech evaluated several options and finally selected SAP S/4 HANA© as the platform to meet these needs. “Simple finance is great for profitability analysis, and that was one of the main reasons why we chose S4”, Jacobo Ortega.
Three months after the go live, LinkTech’s employees started benefiting from one single source of information, from spending less time in collecting data and more in data analysis, and not just that the information is now in real time. “We can see which of our services are not bringing the planned profit and we can inmediately change the strategy about those, we are getting clear data, quickly”. Among the future plans for LinkTech with SAP S/4 HANA© as a service provider are continuous innovation, more financial projections such as Cash Flow , the of several scenarios for forecasting better, the new module of Consolidation and the use of Fiori Apps for the Project System module to allow the sales and technical team to be able to nurture the system even when onsite with the clients and prospects.
